Automate manufacturing quotes from your inbox
Typelens reads requests and attachments from your mailbox, finds similar quotes and orders, and prepares a draft ready to review.
The problem
Quote data is already in your mailbox
Requests, drawings, orders and previous quotes are spread across conversations and attachments. Typelens links them to the same request and prepares the information for review.
Conversations must be rebuilt
The request and its revisions may be spread across several messages in the same negotiation.
Attachments must be read
PDF, BOM, STEP, DXF and customer notes arrive by email in different formats.
History must be found
Orders, sent quotes and supplier price lists are often already in the mailbox.
How it works
From the request to the quote draft
Connects the mailbox
Typelens accesses the selected mailbox and identifies incoming RFQs.
Reads email and files
It groups conversations and technical files and retrieves the information available in the documents.
Searches the history
It finds similar orders and quotes when they are available across received and sent messages.
Prepares the draft
It suggests references and flags missing data. The estimator sets the price and approves the result.
Inside the mailbox
One search across email, files and history
Typelens links negotiation messages with technical files and previously sent quotes. Reference quality depends on the data available in the mailbox; an external database can add current raw-material prices.
Requests and files
Email, PDF, Excel, BOM, STEP and DXF are reconciled into the same request.
Sent quotes
Prices, revisions and terms from previous negotiations.
Orders and confirmations
Received orders help distinguish accepted quotes from the wider history.
External prices
An external database or price list can provide a current raw-material reference.
The estimator stays in control
Typelens prepares a draft, shows its sources and flags data to review. The estimator sets price, margin and terms. No quote is sent without approval.
Initial setup
Connect your estimating mailbox
Typelens works with the messages and attachments in the selected mailbox. Setup checks which sources are available and how much history can be used. Every result shows its source.

Direct ERP and business-system connections
Access to ERP actuals, purchasing data and master data is planned as a later extension. The first version works with the mailbox and the external sources agreed with your team.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Does Typelens automatically send quotes to customers?+
Typelens prepares a draft with sources and a confidence level. An estimator can review, edit and approve it before sending, according to company rules.
Is an STL file enough?+
No. Typelens uses the information actually available in each file; it does not derive complete production time and cost from a 3D model alone. Material, tolerances, operations and commercial terms must also come from the RFQ, drawing or history.
What does Typelens search in the mailbox?+
Typelens links requests, attachments, sent quotes, revisions, orders and confirmations that belong to the same negotiation. When these records are incomplete, it flags the gap and the draft requires more review.
Where do material prices come from?+
The first version uses prices found in quotes, price lists and messages. It can also query an external database agreed with the company.
